This book is really good, I haven’t cried this much in a long time. I relate so hard to this book at some points. My first poem book I read so quickly. I’m holding this book dearly.I highly recommend this book
I was super excited for this book after reading the 100% positive reviews. I am so disappointed in this book. The cover art and overall design of the book is beautiful. It’s a very sleek, minimalist looking matte black and is very attractive. Unfortunately, that’s really where the good stops for me.Firstly, there were so many typos in this book, I lost count after five. I don’t have a literary background, so the errors within the text are glaringly obvious if I am able to notice them. It’s distracting and leads to a disappointing read.Secondly, I knew this book was going to be “melancholy†as the one review called it, however the poems were just respective and at times a little bland. There wasn’t a flow from start to finish in this book. It seemed like random poems scattered randomly throughout the pages with no rhyme or reason as to why they were in that order. This also makes for a dissatisfying read because by the time you get to the last poem, you’re confused and just want a little relief. You want a poem that is either going to give you closure or provide a thought provoking medium to spark your mind. Unfortunately for me, the end of this book did neither of the former.

Heartbreak, pain, loss, raw. Worth reading over and over. When you are going through these things, you read Jack Ray’s poetry and feel that he has read your mind.
When the book came in it did not come in which such protection, therefore, it only case in a yellow envelope so the book could’ve gone wet or the pages could’ve been ripped.
The book is filled with heart break and extremely deep thoughts. I will definitely be reading this again in one of my more desperate of times.
