Just got this and read it with my 4-year-old nephew and he loved it. The pictures are very colorful and he loved that it was a rhyming book.Great for any kiddos around that age.

This is the first time I have read Yvonne Jones' work. What a delightful surprise. Her book, Lil Foot the Monster Truck, has great illustrations, weaves a great story, and is a souped up "vehicle" for parents and grandparents to share with their young loved ones. It's a story that can be read many times. New meaning will appear. This book should be on every bookshelf and in every library. Read a great story, enjoy the graphics, remind yourself that deep down, you need the hopeful message of this story just as much as kids do.

Such big and brilliantly colored images about not caring about the mean words ones may use against you but only being the best version of oneself.
