Written by folks who have very little grasp of the English language.Diagrams and schematics look to be 3rd or 4th generation copies of originals.Diagnostic and repair information is very cryptic and difficult to understand.Figures and descriptions are not always clear.If you want a good manual for your outboard engines, I would recommend spending the time and the money looking for a factory manual.The SELOC manuals are OK, at best, if you already have a strong mechanical background and are good at deciphering what seems like Far Easterners trying to interpret what they think is English...
I diagnosed a faulty stator following the troubleshooting in this manual.
