First of all, I love Scrivener, but holy cow there is a steep learning curve. I have spent hours learning the program, which really paid off because now I fly through the program. Except for compiling. I had all kind of wonky blank pages all over the place and weird formatting and--let's just say it was a royal mess. I had this book, but did I look at it? No. (Good job, me.) After HOURS studying Scrivener's user manual (and making lots of guesses), I finally got something I could be proud of. Then I found this book, tucked away on my Kindle. Oh my word! I had scrolled through the thing once before, but, not knowing Scrivener that well, I was like, "What on earth???" and shut it down. This time...oh yes...this time I whirled through the pages, floating on happy clouds. Everything I still had messed up, or was just a little off, THIS BOOK FIXED. Thank you, N.R. Wick, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! I might not have spent three days sobbing and tearing my hair out if I would have read this book the moment I was ready to compile! This book is a godsend, and I can't rave about it enough. (But your probably tired of my gushing, so I'll stop.) Thank you!!!!!

Even though I heard that putting out an eBook with Scrivener is easy, I still couldn't figure out the right choices for my eBook..I read N R Wick's book on my Cloud Reader. (18" screen - I recommend you read her book on a large screen so you can see the images & not a Kindle). The book follows step by step through the formatting/compiling process with images (full color and large enough to see details) from Scrivener. This isn't a quick-- got it the first time--read through. Keep Wick's book open when you start formatting, compiling on Scrivener so you can follow step by step to see how your eBook will look. (I kept notes as I made changes so I could retrieve a bit of formatting I liked but later changed)This whole process of self-publishing seemed so daunting at first but now I can check this part of the process off my to-do list knowing I'll get the finished eBook I want. After finally taking my time to bring this ebook up on my screen and followiing it step-by-step while compiling my ebook, I saw what a mistake I had made by not having done it right away.If you want to see immediate improvements in your ebook formating, and if you are using Scrivener on a Mac, then you should read this book.I have no complaints - it deserves all five stars. I do suggest that everyone save your compiler options often. Ms Wick has this notice at the end of the book. Maybe it should have been in the front. Nonetheless, well done Ms Wick. Write another and I'll buy it.

I must admit that working with Scrivener is much harder than I thought it would be so I was hoping that this would make compiling things easy. Unfortunately, while helpful, I still needed to read Scrivener for Dummies and a huge amount of trial and error to try and compile something that might be presentable enough to publish and after twenty-some-odd hours and am still not there yet. However, I can't complain too much. It was less than three bucks and did get me started.

Excellent, excellent book! I've been wrestling with Scrivener compile for as long as I've had the program and have tried multiple ways to learn how to do this. This book was the one that finally helped me nail it. The author described the steps to a compile clearly and simply, with images to explain finer points. I could not be happier!!

Great Book... lots of details that are useful. It takes time to learn Scrivener. Its a complex program but it has features that help a writer many ways. In the long haul that learning curve is worth the time and hassle.

This is a good book for advance user of scrivener. I learnt very few new things or tips in comparison of other similar boos. But are useful tips, so if you want something more explanatory you can search for several other options. This one is a little expensive for the benefit that I received, but that could be just my case.

Scrivener is the only way to go if you're writing anything but a letter. This​ helps in converting to Ibooks and Kindle. Takes some of the frustration away.
