Big, bold print. Great & easy music book to follow and has everything I need. My only gripe is the quality of the cover. It's just a cheap, flimsy card stock that tears easily. I'm gonna cover it with clear self laminate to secure and preserve the book. Other than that, I love it. Great purchase.
A union guy kept it and won't give it back. It's got lots of songs I grew up with on the radio. I learned to read music better and transcribe my own bass parts from using the piano bass notes and then listening to the records. It probably helped me have a better idea of what the Eagles went through as people, but with all the times I 'd have to listen to the records, I eventually was able to hear the band member's voices that were probably not meant to come out on the records which were in the control booth or studio.
Two hallmarks of the Eagles were their harmonies and great guitar solos. Don't expect to find those here. Strictly for amateurs wanting to sing and play guitar or piano at house parties.
My friend is taking it to a place that will turn it into a spiral book so she can lay flat when she plays the piano.New music for her (she's 86) but I know that she will have fun with the songs.
got to just love this book
It's great having access to all theses Eagles hits - planning to perform quite a few. There was another Eagles book quite q while ago that included vocal parts as well, which would have added to this one a lot. It's still a wonderful collection. I just saw them last week, and they still have the magic - one of my all-time favorite bands.
Love the Eagles, love this book of songs.
